Job Details Job Location: Lawton, OK 73501 Position Type: Full-Time Job Shift: Any Essential Job Functions: Must portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of always providing exceptional service. Supervises the activities of the Surveillance Officers assigned to his/her shift. Plans and directs all surveillance related activities on assigned shift. Ensures effective communication between all areas of the building and casino as it relates to the guest experience. Provides coaching counseling and recommendations for recognition to encourage excellent performance in all areas. Promotes excellent guest service. Ensures assigned staff conducts “Visual Patrols” throughout the casino and adjacent support areas. Provides on the job training for Surveillance Officers. Investigates complaints of team members and makes recommendations to the Surveillance Director. Schedules and evaluates personnel in accordance with departmental operating standards; specifically, supervises the activity of officers to provide security for all casino guests, team members and casino property. Acts as the contact point for taking information into the surveillance room. Reports and distributes information as required to casino management. Conducts internal team member investigations. Prepares follow-up to criminal reports when necessary. Prepares Surveillance Reports as required. Provides proofreading and approval of reports and audits done on his/her shift. Provides excellent customer service and team member relations. Ensures all team members assigned to their shift understand and comply with the appearance standards of the casino. Ensures all team members assigned to their shift understand and comply with the attendance policy of the casino. Ensures all team members assigned to their shift understand and comply with the Eye-Hi-Goodbye program. Must be knowledgeable and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols. Assign tasks to agents on a per incident basis through written and oral instruction. Ensures conformance to policies and procedures. Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates and maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues of concern. Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior. Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program. Regular attendance is required. Qualifications Qualifications: Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. One to two years of supervisory experience in security or gaming video surveillance experience, with an emphasis in all areas of asset protection, team member safety. Must have an In-depth knowledge of federal/state laws and local ordinances or regulations pertaining to security surveillance, life/safety requirements, and applicable elements of employment law. Experience with and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and/or regulatory agency reporting requirements regarding security and gaming surveillance. Strong leadership skills and customer service orientation required. Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel. Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Knowledge of video surveillance information and reporting systems preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills required. Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
