The role: As a leading support in the Surveillance team, the Surveillance Systems & Technical Coordinator is a critical support to the Surveillance Systems and Technical Manager and collaborates closely with the broader team at Crown Sydney. You’ll bring experience across variety of surveillance and access control systems, including preventative and reactive maintenance of technical assets, as well as integration skills covering security & surveillance systems such as CCTV, radio and facial recognition. You’ll also play a key part in the planning and implementation of technical improvements and projects, whilst also supporting the Surveillance Operations team with day-to-day technical needs. This is a rare opportunity to explore a career in integrated resorts – where you’ll get exposure to hospitality, gaming, events, retail and residential - all within a luxury environment. This is a Monday to Friday role, working across standard office hours, although will need flexibility outside of these hours from time to time. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Working together with Surveillance Operations to ensure all installed technology meets policies and SOPs, ensuring compliance is maintained Monitoring the ongoing performance of systems to anticipate potential issues and identify additional preventative maintenance steps Conducting regular system, equipment and network checks to troubleshoot and simulate faults, reporting any findings or recommendations Producing key monthly reports as required on system performance, maintenance, analysis and trends Contributing to reports that assist with annual business planning, budgeting and strategy setting, and long term ‘technology road map’ planning Support with the development and delivery of special projects, assisting with scoping, planning and implementation Preparing concise and accurate documentation, ensuring end users are aware of the roll out of new projects, including any training or demonstration to ensure understanding Key selection criteria: A current and valid 2BC Security Technician license Minimum 3 years’ experience in IP CCTV and Access Control systems Experience in video analytic detection systems & electronic key management systems (KeyWatcher is beneficial) Fundamental TCP/IP networking knowledge System integration experience would be an advantage Excellent communication skills and ability to work to tight timeframes and deadlines Able to obtain an NSW Casino Special Employee License What we offer you: Opportunity to be part of a high-performing team within an iconic hospitality brand Complimentary meals at our on-site staff restaurant + discounts at various F&B venues on property Generous accommodation discounts across Crown Resorts in Sydney, Melbourne & Perth Chance to take part and be rewarded in Crown’s group-wide recognition and awards program Ability to be an active member and contribute to Crown’s community, diversity & inclusion committees Access to discounts with our corporate partners – including tickets to events, performances and more On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
