R. J. Fuselier & Associates, L.L.C. (RJF&A) is seeking an experienced Survey CAD Technician, fluent in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, to provide data processing and plat generation support in the performance of land, boundary, topographic, ALTA, flood elevation, and other surveys AND have the flexibility to work from home. This position will coordinate and manage the field survey data processing efforts on projects assigned and be responsible for survey plat generation and other survey deliverables. As proficiency is demonstrated, this position may transition into a Project Management role.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of land surveying-related experience
• Minimum of 3 years of land survey data processing/plat generation experience
• Ability to read blueprints, plats, maps, site plans, deeds, legal documents, and field notes
• AutoCAD Civil 3D fluency
• Microsoft Office fluency including Microsoft Excel

Work Location: Remot

• Provide office support, including data processing/reduction and plat generation.
• Assist field crews with data collection effort.
• Data processing of field data and other potential data processing needs up to, but not limited to, calculations and CAD drafting/plat generation.
• Project Management related duties may be assigned. Those duties include, but are not limited to the following: Manage all aspects of the project(s) to which you’re assigned including (a) client correspondence and reporting, (b) coordination of crews and equipment, (c) invoicing, (d) monitoring and reporting of project progress, adherence to project schedule and budget, (e) monitor and maintain quality of work standard (f) perform data processing as needed and establish data processing methods and protocols, (g) enter and maintain data entries for both you and your crew into the RJF&A mobile APP (APP), (h) and other associated project management needs.
