Role description: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Survey Coordinator and Data Analyst to join our Wastewater Modelling Team. This new role is pivotal to enhancing project efficiency and data quality by centralising the planning, management, and analysis of survey data. Freeing up our expert modellers to focus on high-value tasks, you will play a key part in driving technical excellence and project success. Role accountabilities: Plan & Coordinate Surveys: Organise and coordinate all wastewater survey activities (flow, manhole, CCTV, infiltration, ancillaries, pumping stations) across multiple projects. Contractor Liaison: Act as the main point of contact with survey contractors. Define clear specifications, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring high standards of delivery. Data Quality Assurance: Oversee data collection, conduct regular quality checks, and ensure robust QA/QC processes are in place. Data Management & Analysis: Manage, clean, and analyse survey datasets, preparing them for seamless use by the modelling team. Standardisation & Best Practice: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for survey planning, data management, and analysis to support consistency and efficiency. Health & Safety: Ensure all survey activities comply with Arcadis and client Health & Safety requirements, including risk assessments and incident reporting. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to innovate and improve survey and data processes, supporting the team's technical development. Qualifications & Experience: Essential Skills & Experience Demonstrable experience coordinating or delivering field surveys (preferably within water, wastewater, or environmental sectors) Strong data management and analytical skills, with experience handling large datasets Experience liaising with contractors and managing project timelines and deliverables Good understanding of Health & Safety in field operations Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant data analysis tools Desirable Experience in wastewater modelling or data-driven environmental projects Familiarity with GIS or survey data integration platforms Previous work within a consultancy or client-side water company environment Why Arcadis?
