.Qualifications
As a Survey Field Technician, you will obtain and compute field data relevant to measure the Earth and other manmade features. You will assist Surveyors in the documentation, surveying, and inventorying of site features through points, elevations, lines, and areas for digital map making, land surveying, topographic mapping, utility verification, and professional design. You will operate and maintain field equipment including rods, tripods, tribrachs, electronic data collectors, total stations, robotic instrumentation, RTK and static GPS, and auto levels. You will be responsible for understanding and properly coding field data to allow “field to finish” CAD and digital terrain model (DTM) production. You will also be responsible for field establishment of robust geodetic survey control networks on project sites.
