Description The Survey Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of multiple surveying projects while leading and developing project teams. This role applies sound surveying principles and best practices throughout all project phases—from planning through execution and closeout. You will manage project scope, budgets, and resources; serve as a primary client contact; and ensure all deliverables meet WithersRavenel quality standards and NCBELS requirements. What You’ll Do Lead geomatics projects from proposal through delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and client expectations. Partner closely with clients to understand requirements and provide consistent, solutions-focused communication and updates. Coordinate field and office teams; provide guidance on CAD workflows, data processing, and quality assurance. Travel to client sites for kickoff, progress check-ins, and delivery meetings. Maintain strong QA/QC standards, implement WR best practices, and support the Group Director with planning and forecasting. Requirements What You Bring 6+ years of relevant surveying experience Strong knowledge of land surveying data collection methods, processing workflows, and industry technologies. Experience with Leica, Carlson, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation ORD, or similar platforms. Experience supervising field staff, including scheduling and performance oversight. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Leadership experience in team oversight, scheduling, and performance management. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. PLS preferred.
