OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Survey Technician/ Project Coordinator/ Drafting Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various surveying tasks, utilizing advanced technology and tools to gather accurate data for land development and construction projects. This role requires a strong foundation in General Construction techniques and procedures and proficiency in surveying software, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong understanding of Construction of commercial and industrial buildings
  • Experience with surveying technologies such as GPS, Total stations, and utility locating systems
  • Experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, Revit, MicroStation
  • Experience with MS office and Bluebeam
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Minimum 2 years working in construction field in North America
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing of project drawings and specifications
  • Design and drafting and input of survey information
  • Utilize survey equipment to perform layout tasks onsite
  • Utilize survey equipment to collect and check information onsite
  • Collect and analyze data to create accurate as built and design drafts.
  • Quantity surveying and estimating tasks
  • Project coordination including scheduling, budgeting, and materials and subcontractor acquisitions
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project specifications
  • Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition
  • Conduct heavy lifting as required during fieldwork activities
