Job Description Personalised career progression plans to help you achieve your goals Join a business with an excellent safety record as well as robust systems and process's Competitive salary in line with experience + Acciona Bonus Incentive Scheme The Surveyor is responsible for effectively setting out and surveying the project and ensure that all works conform to the Project Drawings, Specifications and Australian Standards. The Project The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year. The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks. Key accountabilities for the position Construction set outs for different scopes in the field not limited to roads, drainage, utilities, concrete and SMP (Structural, mechanical, piping) or a combination of these depending on competencies Coordinate with various field-based construction teams and subcontractors Correctly interprets specifications and plans forming digital models for set-out. Follow survey procedures and process to meet alliance objectives Calibrates and maintains survey equipment to the required standards Project Monitoring and progress reporting Computation of field data and ensuring collaboration with survey data management team Active participation in all Alliance Safety initiatives. Collaboration with broader GIS & Digital Engineering team on the project Support the development and implementation of positive initiatives to enhance the working experience for the Alliance Required Skills and Competencies Diploma equivalent in surveying and/or bachelor's degree in surveying with considerable experience supporting large civil infrastructure projects Demonstrated experience in 12D (Model, Field and Synergy) desirable Machine Control Experience desirable Experience in concrete and SMP (Structural, mechanical, piping) desirable Intermediate in MS Suite Able to work in a high performing and professional team with a genuine desire to be part of this amazing and challenging project What we offer At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
