This is an entry level position with no specific educational requirement, however training/experience with the legal survey industry, standard survey equipment and the Alberta township system will factor into pay level and future career advancement.
As survey field work is a safety-sensitive position, an industry standard pre-employment D&A screening test is required.
All required training and safety courses will be provided.
The position will involve working outside in all weather conditions and terrain, assisting an experienced survey supervisor on a 2-person crew. Enjoyment of working outdoors, and some familiarity with ATVs and manual labor tasks is a must.
Based out of Grande Prairie but could entail work throughout Rural, northern Alberta, and there will be lots of potential for overtime (after 10 hours shift).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
