What you will be doing Lead and coordinate daily survey crew activities on site. Perform layout and staking for earthworks, excavations, foundations, structural elements, utilities, and drainage systems. Execute as-built surveys and verify compliance with construction tolerances. Interpret civil and structural drawings to ensure accurate field implementation. Perform stakeouts using DTM surfaces, alignments, and profiles. Complete field calculations as required to support construction activities. Support excavation, grading, shoring, formwork, and concrete placement operations. Work closely with superintendents, subcontractors, project engineers, and other construction partners to ensure proper execution of work. Upload, manage, and verify digital design files for field use. Process field data and assist in preparing drawings and calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard office software. Maintain accurate field records and survey documentation. Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper care of survey instruments and equipment. Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and project specifications. Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site. What we are looking for Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience on large-scale infrastructure or heavy civil construction projects. Demonstrated experience in structures, utilities, and earthworks layout. Experience leading a survey crew in active construction environments. Strong knowledge of GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, digital levels, and survey data collectors. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D. Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings. Strong understanding of construction tolerances and field problem-solving. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Experience on transportation infrastructure projects. Familiarity with Leica, Trimble, or equivalent survey equipment platforms. Experience coordinating with multiple subcontractors on complex job sites. Experience working with machine control systems.
