The Opportunity Based in Central Otago, you will be required to provide construction set out and monitoring to assist our crews and engineers and provide quality checks to ensure works are meeting specified construction tolerances. As well as for our FH internal customers, we provide survey support to external contractors, services providers and clients. What you’ll bring to the table The candidate will be able to work well with others and have a mind for health and safety while you are working. You will enjoy getting stuck in with your team and take pride in the products you are producing. You will also have: 2-3 years’ experience in a project surveying role Experience using Trimble GPS and robotic Total-station Familiar with Trimble Business Centre and AutoCAD software Experience using UAVs preferred Experience with GPS and Total-station Machine control systems Sound understanding and working knowledge of surveying methodology and equipment A positive attitude towards Safety management Ability to work well with others as well as independently Good problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills Ability to meet deadlines Ability to build relationships with clients both internal and external.
