We’re looking for someone with solid knowledge of survey methodologies and a proven history of delivering civil projects, including bridges, roading and services. In this role, you’ll provide practical survey solutions, produce CAD designs, manage data processing. In addition to the above, you’ll: Undertake as-built surveys to verify construction accuracy and progress for ongoing and completed works. Apply your proficiency in using Trimble survey equipment, Civil3d and the Autodesk suite of products. Identify potential risks on-site, analyze data to produce relevant survey plans and technical reports. Create high-quality survey plans, charts, and technical drawings. Maintain clear and consistent documentation for project records. Operational knowledge of civil and construction works, operations and calculations and the ability to interact with Fulton Hogan staff, contractors, designers and clients is essential for this position. We’re looking for someone with: Minimum 5 years’ experience within a survey or civil construction industry Full NZ Driver’s license minimum Class 1 Able to be based near the work within Gisborne / Napier Surveyor qualification – Certificate in Surveying or other relevant qualification Understanding of survey methodology, civil construction & paving methodology Strong proficiency in using Trimble survey equipment, TBC, Civil3d and the Autodesk suite of products. Excellent technical knowledge of surveying and surveying methodologies. Working knowledge of civil engineering and construction processes.
