WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You’ll be part of the design team which covers the investigation and detail design of clean and waste water network, civil engineering and other projects principally, but not wholly, related to the water industry. Surveyors assume a largely site based role undertaking surveys using specialist GPS equipment. They can complete up-front surveys, hazard surveys, access surveys, technical surveys, as-built surveys and schedule of condition reports for private land entry. They set write their own generic risk assessments for surveys and act dynamically in the field to site specific risks. The Design Resource Planner should be consulted when a surveyor is required for project related tasks.
