OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mathematics and surveying techniques, with proficiency in various software tools and technologies. This role involves conducting land surveys, collecting data, and creating accurate schematics to support construction and engineering projects. The Surveyor will work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure that all surveying tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in land surveying or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CAD software is essential; experience with Carlson or MicroStation is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GIS principles and the ability to utilize ArcGIS for mapping purposes.
  • Knowledge of utility locating techniques is beneficial.
  • Proficient in data collection methods and data analysis skills.
  • Experience working with hand tools and heavy equipment used in construction environments is advantageous.
  • A solid grasp of mathematical concepts including trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and their application in surveying tasks.
