We’re part of an exciting group of companies (Ventro, Firntec & LivGreen) specializing in fire safety services and building compliance. Right now, we’re looking for a skilled Compartmentation Surveyor to join our London team.

You’ll be working with landlords, organisations and businesses across London to make sure their buildings meet fire safety regulations. It’s varied work that combines technical expertise with client interaction.
Day-to-day responsibilities: You’ll be surveying buildings across London to assess compartmentation and passive fire protection, carrying out door inspections (some requiring FDIS certification) and identifying compartmentation line errors. Working with building drawings to understand fire ratings, you’ll sometimes conduct destructive surveys to uncover hidden issues, then create detailed lists of defects and develop practical solutions. Beyond the technical surveying work, you’ll review quotations from your findings, work closely with Operations team, and meet with clients to explain survey results and the importance of addressing identified issues. You’ll also provide ongoing technical support on properties and help Project Managers with your building knowledge and expertise.
