THE OPPORTUNITY:

Due to continued business growth, we are looking for experienced Surveyors and Senior Surveyors to join our expanding teams in Manchester and Birmingham. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a forward-thinking, dynamic company that’s at the forefront of the UK’s geospatial industry.
In this field-based role, you’ll work on a diverse range of high-profile projects across infrastructure, construction, and property sectors, utilizing the latest surveying technologies. Responsibilities

WHAT WILL I BE DOING IN MY NEW ROLE?

  • Ability to lead and setup survey projects.
  • Undertaking various types of surveys sessions using a variety of specialised and exciting equipment and technology
  • Work with modern survey methods and survey devices such as total stations, GNSS and data collectors.
  • Establish survey controls, setting out gridlines, levelling, traversing and other land surveying work.
  • Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope
  • Process data from the field into the office, post processing with software, such as AutoCAD
  • Assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
  • Ensure that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.
  • Deliver to company policies, procedures, standards and best practices.
  • Any other duties as required by the business

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

  • A minimum of 1-2 year’s site survey experience using topographical instruments
  • Very good level of English (written, written, speaking)
  • Physically capable to carry out the role
  • Full clean UK manual driving licence
  • Relevant Qualifications and/or relevant experience (Relevant CSCS card essential)
  • Experience of working to high safety standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of role related post-processing software.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
