JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine, particularly in sushi preparation, and will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards. This role requires a blend of creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety and quality.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Strong culinary skills with expertise in knife skills, food preparation, cooking, and meal preparation.
  • Familiarity with dietary department operations or experience as a dietary aide is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry.
  • Previous experience in catering or serving is advantageous.
