REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in fine dining establishments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A passion for culinary arts, particularly in Japanese cuisine.
  • Certification in food safety or culinary arts is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, with precision and artistry.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, including proper storage of ingredients.
  • Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary restrictions.
  • Assist in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality food service.
  • Train kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and food safety practices.
