POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and responsible Sushi Line Cook to join our team at Chubby Cattle Topanga. This role is a key part of our back of house operations, ensuring excellent food quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1 year of sushi preparation experience, including fish filleting and slicing skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fine-dining sushi operation
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to restaurant standards rapidly
  • Knowledge of proper seafood storage, handling, and rotation
  • Flexibility to work late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in upscale Japanese restaurants or omakase settings
  • Familiarity with Japanese ingredients and terminology
