REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role, showcasing expertise in sushi preparation and presentation.
  • Excellent knife skills and the ability to handle fish and seafood with precision.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices in a kitchen environment.
  • Creativity and innovation in sushi creation, incorporating unique elements to delight guests.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, managing multiple orders and maintaining quality under pressure.
  • Leadership skills to guide and inspire a team of sushi kitchen staff.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per restaurant operations.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional sushi dining experiences and a passion for culinary excellence.
    We are not looking for individuals with the most experience, we are looking for individuals who can provide the best service, who have the ability to learn, follow instructions efficiently, and above all, who have the desire to grow and be the best in the industry.
    We can teach skills, we cannot teach attitude and effort.

    Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

  • Maintain an organized and efficient workstation, following strict food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate orders and ensure smooth operations during high-volume periods.
  • Train and mentor junior sushi kitchen staff, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Stay updated on sushi trends, new ingredients, and techniques, continuously expanding your culinary knowledge.
