JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a deep understanding of sushi-making techniques. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards for taste and presentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of various sushi-making techniques, including rice preparation, fish selection, and presentation styles.
  • Experience in fine dining establishments is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with dietary department operations or as a dietary aide is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations to ensure compliance in all kitchen activities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability for tasks.
  • Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
