JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team on weekends. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine, particularly in sushi preparation and presentation. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for crafting high-quality sushi dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols
  • Fine dining experience preferred, with an emphasis on high-quality food service
  • Culinary experience with a focus on Japanese cuisine is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus
  • Familiarity with catering services is advantageous
