JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on sushi and Japanese cuisine. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards while ensuring excellent food safety practices are followed. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food handling
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Passion for culinary arts, particularly Japanese cuisine, with creativity in meal preparation
