EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
  • Experience in serving and food service roles is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with meal preparation processes and kitchen operations is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and create a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls, ensuring presentation meets our restaurant’s standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Stay updated on current food trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and accommodating special requests when possible.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and food handling practices.
