Description

We are searching for Sushi Line Cooks who are passionate about food and eager to learn different types of Asian cuisine.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follows recipes and directions for preparing, cooking and plating dishes.
  • Follow menus, estimate food requirements and check production.
  • Practices excellent food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Regularly restocks all kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
  • Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to management.
  • Monitor proper rotation and dating of prepped and food items
  • Maintain clean organized work environment that is free of safety hazards.

Position Qualifications:

  • 1 year minimum experience as a sushi cook at fast-paced, upscale restaurants required
  • Good knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques
  • Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and passionate about their work
  • Ability to work all events, including: extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
