Description Susquehanna Printing Company is looking for a Mail Line Operator to join our team! The Mail Line Operator will be primary responsibility for setup and operation of Mailing Machine consisting of inkjetting, tipping, and tabbing parts. As well as material handling, and palletizing product according to postal regulations. Retrieve production materials and place in the appropriate locations using material moving equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks and dollies in a safe manner. Jog and feed pre-printed materials into machine feed hoppers as needed. Complete paperwork, setup, operate mail line, quality checking, and assist in overseeing assigned helpers in preparing orders for shipment while maintaining a continuous product flow. Work for continual improvement of efficiency and accuracy. Wrap finished product using an automated stretch wrap machine. Operate and perform preventative maintenance of mailing equipment. Performs quality checks and ensures product is complete, accurate and defect free Completes job paperwork. Keeps equipment and work area clean. Adaptable and flexible with production operations and schedule Brings relevant issues affecting quality and service to the attention of management in a timely fashion. Communicates and collaborates effectively while striving for the highest possible outcomes for customers and our organization. Works proactively to identify problems and craft creative solutions. Strong sense of urgency, team oriented, good communicator, and adaptable. Able to work weekday and weekend overtime as requested. Working Conditions: Climate- controlled manufacturing environment, which may include working overtime as necessary. Must be able to work in a standing position throughout an entire shift. Requirements Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Experience to proficiently operate and maintain various pieces of mailing equipment including a tipper, tabber, and inkjet system. Good attendance record required. Ability to read and interpret all related paperwork. Ability work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision. Machines/Tools/Equipment: Proficiency with MFT Automation MultiFeeder Friction Feeder tipping machine or similar. Proficiency with Secap Jet 1 Tabber machine or similar. Perform work required for this position in a warehouse/plant environment. Required to use a computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Pallet Jacks. Both manual and electric. Proficiency with non-power hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, etc.).
