Our department contributes to building sustainability by improving energy performance, enhancing occupant comfort, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We conduct technical studies, perform energy modeling, support environmental certifications, and identify financial incentives to help advance projects (HQ, Énergir, Écoperformance, etc.).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical studies for both existing buildings and new construction projects.
  • Perform energy audits to assess current consumption and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Carry out energy calculations, including consumption analyses and potential savings estimates for energy efficiency measures using various platforms: EXCEL, eQuest, Energy+, IESVE, etc.
  • Perform technical surveys of mechanical and electrical building systems.
  • Write clear and detailed technical reports documenting analyses and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, providing technical support to project managers and senior staff.
  • Investigate mechanical, electrical, and control systems to recommend optimizations.
  • Participate in other related tasks, including administrative responsibilities.
