Sustainability Analyst / Consultant

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess the relevant educational background in sustainability, environmental science, business, economics, strategy, finance or related disciplines
• At least 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience in sustainable finance, sustainability consulting or audit roles
• Technical understanding of key sustainability standards, impact measurement methodologies, corporate greenhouse gas emissions measurement is preferred
• Possess strong understanding of corporate sustainability concepts and how ESG factors affect company performance and/or investment outcomes across sectors
• Excellent research, data management and analytical skills
• Track record in delivering results and working towards a common goal within a diverse team environment

• Support the ESG & Public Policy practice
• Collecting and analysing data for reporting, benchmarking across competitors and industries as well as researching key sustainability trends and topics
• Writing reports and analysis papers, including developing thought leadership on material ESG issues and strategies, competitive dynamics, economic trends, public policy issues, and market intelligence
• Managing submissions to regulatory agencies, and assisting clients on ESG compliance matters
• Reviewing internal ESG reports and working with internal functions to collect data on ESG matters
• Building and managing client relationships
