Mō te tūranga | About the Role As our Sustainability and Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading sustainability initiatives aligned with the Westpac New Zealand Sustainability Strategy. Reporting to the National Facilities & Operations Manager, you’ll oversee emissions reporting, assurance processes, and supplier engagement to help Westpac achieve its environmental goals. You’ll also lead two direct reports: an Operations Relationship Manager and an Operations Assistant who support supplier management and day‑to‑day operational activity. What you’ll be doing Leading sustainability initiatives across Westpac NZ and the Group that align with the Sustainability Strategy Collecting and verifying emissions data for accuracy, completeness, and reporting requirements Providing insights and commentary on emissions trends, challenges and highlights Preparing approval memos and supporting disclosure requirements for Sustainability and Finance teams Supporting Toitū net carbon‑zero certification and other assurance processes Managing Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) purchasing and processes Partnering with suppliers to strengthen sustainability practices, reduce deforestation and protect natural habitats Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
