  • Build and maintain dashboards to track emissions performance, cost modeling, and vendor KPIs.
  • Conduct freight-related Scope 3 baseline analysis to identify carbon hotspots and inform vendor strategy.
  • Evaluate decarbonization initiatives (e.g., solar, EV charging, carbon offsets) using internal carbon pricing frameworks to assess cost and emissions impacts.
  • Support a centralized vendor analytics system, integrating cost, emissions, and operational performance data (e.g., cost per mile, GHG intensity).
  • Support vendor evaluation and procurement processes, including renewable energy procurement (PPAs, RECs, community solar) and transportation sourcing.
  • Run analytical procurement and vendor performance reports to guide strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and sustainability teams to align procurement strategies with environmental goals.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting key findings, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support Yusen Green ERG initiatives, helping drive employee engagement and awareness around sustainability.
  • Stay current on emerging sustainability and supply chain reporting frameworks to ensure compliance and best practice adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with SQL or Python a plus.
  • Strong data management, analysis, and visualization skills.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, procurement, or supply chain.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and deliver insights that support decision-making.
