Role Description   We are looking for a Corporate Sustainability Assistant Specialist to take part in Şişecam Directorate of Sustainability located in Tuzla / İstanbul. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering fields or Social Sciences, master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus 0-2 years of experience in sustainability-related roles. (Consultancy, NGO, Private sector) Strong interest in ESG, corporate responsibility, and sustainable development Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with sustainability disclosures is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English Excellent communication, and organizational skills, as well as a collaborative nature, and a solution-oriented approach   JOB DESCRIPTION   Assisting in conducting materiality and priority analyses to guide sustainability focus areas Supporting the development and refinement of the corporate sustainability strategy Monitoring and analyzing stakeholder and competitor sustainability expectations Tracking ESG performance and actions managed by third-party organizations Contributing to the preparation of Sustainability Reports in line with global standards Helping coordinate sustainability audit processes and follow-up actions Assisting in the management of the sustainability data platform Supporting strategic sustainability initiatives involving NGOs, public institutions, and other stakeholders Assisting in creating training materials, newsletters, and publications to build internal and supplier capacity Providing content for internal and external sustainability platforms, including digital media
Responsibilities
The role involves assisting in conducting materiality analyses and supporting the development of the corporate sustainability strategy. The specialist will also monitor stakeholder expectations and contribute to sustainability reports.
