Description:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS in Architecture, Engineering, Building Sciences, Sustainability or similar +8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Fluent Spanish and Advanced English.
  • Experience in similar positions for mixed-use building projects or programs with over 30,000m2 of total built area.
  • Good understanding of the issues surrounding infrastructure sustainability such as how a project enhances community well-being, health, and livability; how well project planning engages stakeholders, shows collaboration, and implements sustainability; the efficient use of materials, water, and energy; how a project affects ecosystems, biodiversity, and natural habitat and a projects consideration of adaptability to climate change and its resilience against environmental risks.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills with professional consulting experience in architecture and/or engineering and preferably with project management experience.
  • Experience of project managing consultancy assignments involving multiple disciplines and/or teams and stakeholders.
    Additional Information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in Architecture, Engineering, Building Sciences, Sustainability or similar 10 years of relevant experience in the green building/design sector,
  • Technical background such as Engineering, Building Sciences, Sustainability, Architecture or experience in the green building/design sector
  • LEED for Building Design and Construction (LEED BD+C) certification
  • Experience in complex Design-Build projects.
  • Experience working with communities and regions will be a plus.

Job Description

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Creating sustainability and ESG plans for complex buildings projects and programs.
  • Provide leadership in sustainability consulting for projects to meet sustainability goals.
  • Assist clients with establishing project sustainability and healthy building goals and objectives and define a path to compliance with third-party rating system requirements when applicable.
  • Guiding our in-house disciplines to identify opportunities to meet client sustainability goals and requirements and comply with third-party rating system requirements when applicable.
  • Developing and review specifications related to project sustainability and healthy building goals.
  • Prepare and present results and professional recommendations, in report or presentation format to clients and internal teams.
  • Developing scope for sustainability proposals.
  • Undertaking project reviews and mentoring junior staff.
