The Role | Te mahi At Hind Management we think of sustainability holistically. In this exciting new role, the Sustainability Coordinator helps us shift the dial on our impact across all our businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and coordinating sustainability initiatives, facilitating sustainability programs, and working with our people to create radical change in operations and business practices. This is a permanent full-time position with the salary of $65,000 - $68,000. Responsibilities | Ngā whakaritenga Monitor and report on sustainability performance, including waste management, energy consumption, and water usage and carbon emissions Coordinate environmental audits and assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions Promote ESG awareness and engage employees in sustainable practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into daily operations Help research the commercial viability of sustainable solutions and implement them as needed Stay informed about emerging sustainability trends and explore opportunities for innovation and improvement Liaise with external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies Educate employees in sustainability initiatives and foster engagement across the business Drive employee engagement and awareness programs to promote sustainable practices About you | Ko koe tēnei Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills (including writing) and ability to engage and motivate employees towards sustainable practices Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Self-starter who can work independently High level of organisation skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously but also collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong knowledge in any programming language preferred NZ Register Level 3 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) or above - At least two years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
