Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer, the Sustainability Engineer’s role is primarily to analyse opportunities to improve building efficiency for K&M’s clients.
In the case of the Facility Management and Small Projects departments, the successful candidate will review existing buildings and suggest a range of free and non-free options that will benefit the client in terms of energy efficiency. These options will be proposed with detailed engineering backup; they will be costed and full NPV return on investment calculations will be included for the clients consideration.
As is the case with all engineers at K&M, you will also be required to support live projects in the role of Project Engineer either on an ongoing basis or from time to time, as directed by your department managers.
Part of your role, both in support of the sustainability role, and as Project Engineer, will require you to travel either within Ireland or to other locations depending on business demands at the time.
