QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong background in climate policy, ESG, or sustainability strategy
• Knowledge of Scope 3 reporting, supply chain sustainability, and utility decarbonization
• Prior experience engaging with legislators and government stakeholders
• Excellent writing and public speaking skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Familiarity with hydrogen, offshore wind, fiber optics, or small nuclear technologies
• Strategic planning or business development experience in utilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Join the Client’s push toward climate resilience and equity by supporting strategic planning, sustainability benchmarking, and legislative outreach. This is a high-impact role with visibility across city, state, and federal platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate development of the client’s Sustainability Strategic Plan
• Design and operationalize the Equity Strategies Action Plan
• Interface with internal departments, legislators, and CBOs
• Research and synthesize policy recommendations, industry trends, and tech opportunities
• Draft presentations, briefs, and executive-level talking points
