In a nutshell Support TME’s Sustainability team to strengthen Human Rights & Due Diligence activities: gain hands-on experience with due diligence inquiries and EU regulation compliance, and create a roadmap to increase TME’s sustainability ratings. Your team and your responsibilities Team/division description: The Sustainability division’s mission is to lead and coordinate the Sustainability activities through 360-degree business integration, fostering a sustainable development culture, effective governance, and strong dialogue with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. The Human Rights & Due Diligence team specifically builds on compliance with human rights and due diligence legislation that we embed in the company, to create a positive impact for our stakeholders and proactively shield the company from risk. Your project: Support TME implementation of EU regulations, with particular focus on ensuring EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) compliance by Q4 2026 Develop a roadmap to improve TME’s Sustainability ratings: Analyse recent ratings, identify gaps, propose initiatives and align implementation plan with Sustainability management and various TME divisions Investigate due diligence inquiries from fleet customers, NGO, or other stakeholders regarding Human Rights or environmental impacts in Toyota’s own operations or supply chain. Liaise with related divisions and draft replies Your Profile Your profile: You are fluent in English (TME’s business language) You are passionate about Sustainability in general, with a particular interest in human rights & due diligence You are studying in a relevant field such as business administration, sustainability management, economics, international development, communications, or political science You are dynamic and can easily connect with people from various backgrounds, to lead cross functional activities You are able to work independently and as part of a team You have good visualization skills to create impactful PowerPoint presentations It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship. We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium) Starting date: February 2026 Duration: 6 months Confidentiality: Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.
