We are looking for a passionate & committed Sustainability Lead to be based at our Grange Park 3 (NN4 5FB ) site. This position offers the opportunity for remote working for up to 3 days per week (subject to business requirements).
We are seeking an exceptional and experienced Sustainability Lead to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a vital role in driving Yusen Logistics sustainability agenda. The role holder will be responsible for driving positive engagement across the business and partner networks to deliver both internal and customer plans. collaborating and communicating across a diverse group of stakeholders to foster a sustainability mindset. This offers significant responsibility and the exciting opportunity to help to shape the future success of our company.
This a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 (DOE).
The shift pattern for this role is predominantly a Monday – Friday working 09:00-17:00.

Key responsibilities:
- Training and influencing members of team on sustainability initiatives and championing it across the business.
- Being the main contact point with our customers for sustainability matters and guidance on current landscape.
- Gathering, checking, and presenting data for annual and ad-hoc reporting, including GHG emissions. To prepare and present reports internal and externally.
- Produce proactive communications for both internal and external stakeholders giving regular insight into market trends and opportunities.
- Work in collaboration with our suppliers and DHCT team to report on sustainability performance and track against Yusen and customer targets.
- Support the business with Sustainability dashboards and produce suitable presentations for internal and external use.
- Produce all project documentation, including project plans, project scope, impacts of change, meeting minutes, and RAID log management.
Key Requirements:
- Logistics management experience, including project management experience, preferably in a 3/4PL pharmaceutical environment.
- A passion for sustainable and responsible business.
- An understanding of broad ESG principles and the regulatory and reporting landscape (desirable).
- The ability to work with complex data and produce useful insights.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge & understanding of effective customer & supplier relationship management principles.
- Influencing, managing, motivating, coaching and developing teams.
