Sustainability Manager Ongoing Part time – 21 hours Sydney CBD - The Domain Clerk Grade 7/8 Total Remuneration Package up to $85,617 Salary Range ($68,144 to $75,432) Established in 1871, the Art Gallery of New South Wales is located in Sydney’s The Domain adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden and near the Central Business District, the Gallery acknowledges the original custodians of this land – the Gadigal people. The Art Gallery attracts around 2 million visitors annually and runs Australia’s largest education program with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year. With our expanded campus the Art Gallery has a new state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved building. About the Role The role is responsible for assisting the Head of Facilities, Sustainability and Heritage with the delivery of initiatives to improve the Art Gallery’s environmental sustainability performance, deliver on the Art Gallery’s Strategic Plan, Sustainability Strategy and Action Plan (SSAP) commitments, coordinating environmental risk and compliance, fulfil internal and external reporting requirements and lead staff and external stakeholder engagement on environmental sustainability issues. What Technical/Soft Skills you require Tertiary qualifications in a field related to Sustainability, engineering, building or construction, and/or equivalent relevant industry experience. Experience in delivering projects and achieving outcomes related to Sustainability. Knowledge of climate risk management, building climate risk maturity and reporting against relevant regulatory and legislative frameworks. Experience in developing and managing overall business plans consistent with the project objectives, project plans and other requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as stakeholder management. Experience in successfully managing and delivering multiple projects in line with set time, costs and quality metrics.
