This role is part of our Strategy & Business Development Function. Reporting directly to the Director, Sustainability. This position is based in Helsinki or Kaarina, Finland or Gothenburg, Sweden.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage MacGregor’s sustainability processes, governance, and due diligence
  • Drive mapping, monitoring, and assessment of global, local, and industrial sustainability regulations
  • Identify and address compliance gaps with divisions, legal, HR, EHS, E&C, and local sites
  • Assure the compliance of the internal & external sustainability reporting
  • Lead development of sustainability policies, guidelines (e.g., UNGC/SDGs, CSRD/ESRS, Taxonomy), and support impact assessment (DMA) with stakeholders
  • Oversee sustainability improvement activities, including self-assessment and external scoring (e.g., ECOVadis)
  • Support sustainability compliance training and track industry developments (e.g., key customers, suppliers, competitors)
