SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER – POWERING POSITIVE CHANGE

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability, waste management, or energy conservation.
  • Proven ability in sustainability data management and analytics.
  • Excellent communicator, adept at engaging stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Project management expertise, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and deliver impactful results.
  • Preferred certifications: LEED accreditation, TRUE Advisor Certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to travel

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sustainability programs tailored to client goals, driving energy conservation, waste reduction, and circular economy practices.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, advising on sustainability journeys and communicating clear, actionable strategies.
  • Manage and analyze sustainability data, ensuring accurate reporting, benchmarking, and identification of opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate sustainability efforts with culinary and marketing teams to enhance restaurant sustainability initiatives and special events.
  • Champion company-wide engagement for Earth Day, World Clean-Up Day, and other key sustainability campaigns.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports highlighting environmental impact, achievements, and ongoing sustainability strategies.
