Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM IS TO

  • Drive sustainability reporting processes and content in e.g. CSRD and the Annual Report, priority ESG ratings & rankings.
  • Develop and deploy effective sustainability reporting processes, further integrating them into Neste’s functions to enhance maturity.
  • Monitor relevant regulations, frameworks and industrial practices to proactively develop Neste’s sustainability reporting to meet evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure cross-organisational alignment in sustainability reporting as well as e.g. in financial reporting, and other sustainability communications.
  • Participate in the assurance process for sustainability reporting in collaboration with e.g. Finance and Communications and support subject matter experts.

KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

  • You have a Master’s degree in e.g. business, economics, engineering or a related field and minimum of 5 years of professional experience in corporate sustainability and/or sustainability reporting.
  • You are fluent in English and preferably also in Finnish due to regulatory reporting language requirements. Other language skills are considered as an asset.
  • You understand sustainability reporting regulation, standards (particularly CSRD and ESRS) and relevant voluntary frameworks (e.g. GRI).
  • You are proficient in e.g. MS Office and comparable Google tools.
  • Supporting competences for this role include proven track record in managing complex multi-stakeholder projects or topics, experience in e.g. finance controlling, sustainability reporting and/or finance consolidation systems. Also process development experience and interest in data-driven ways of working are valuable for this role.
  • As a colleague, you are systematic, analytical and outcome-oriented. You are a proactive team player with excellent collaboration skills who still enjoys working hands-on with your own tasks.
