Description About the job CheckSammy is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Sustainability Project Manager with expertise in cross-functional project coordination and data reporting. The Sustainability Project Manager will lead the execution of enterprise waste diversion and recycling initiatives, ensuring successful onboarding, vendor coordination, KPI tracking, and long-term program performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end implementation of sustainability and waste diversion programs for enterprise clients Coordinate across internal teams (Sales, Operations, Analytics, Account Management) to ensure seamless program execution Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget execution Identify program optimization opportunities to increase landfill diversion and improve operational efficiency Prepare and present program performance updates to internal leadership and client stakeholders Support continuous improvement initiatives within client Sustainability programs Who we are At CheckSammy we believe landfill waste is a massive problem, and we knew we could do something about it. Requirements Experience: Proven success in a project management, sustainability, or operations role Experience building and managing long-term, multi-site programs with measurable outcomes Strong proficiency in Excel for data collection, analysis, and reporting Ability to interpret waste data and translate insights into actionable recommendations Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and vendors Exceptional presentation skills, both internal and client-facing Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot) and program tracking tools Experience in waste, recycling, environmental services, or sustainability industries preferred
