About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to support the delivery of Allianz’s Sustainability Strategy with a focus on governance and reporting for new business activities.

  • Support the Sustainability team in implementing governance and monitoring activities to enhance Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance in new business activities.
  • Assist in reviewing current ESG activities, policies, and data across environment, climate change, and human rights.
  • Contribute to the review of documents and processes to identify and assess due diligence procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements, including risk identification and monitoring.
  • Communicate and engage with internal stakeholders to enhance understanding of Allianz’s Sustainability Strategy, governance frameworks, reporting obligations, and risk processes.

About you

  • Proven experience in sustainability governance and reporting, including human rights.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong engagement skills with the ability to influence and build internal networks.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, with initiative to suggest commercially viable solutions.
  • Experience working with and analysing ESG data sets.
