About the Role: We are seeking a motivated ESG Data Quality Analyst to join our growing Sustainable Investment Data Ops team in Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new function focused on ensuring the integrity and accuracy of ESG data used in FTSE's Sustainable Index products. Key Responsibilities: · Perform quarterly reviews of data inputs and outputs across a range of in-house and third-party ESG datasets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency. · Investigate and challenge data anomalies and exceptions with data vendors, maintaining a high standard of due diligence. · Produce exception trend reports to support ongoing data quality monitoring and improvement. · Participate in the evaluation of new ESG datasets, including vendor due diligence and data coverage analysis. · Contribute to the improvement of systems and processes, working closely with IT Engineers and Product Team · Work in a fast-paced environment with large-scale ESG data sets. Key Requirements: · 2+ years of experience working with ESG/Sustainable Investment data. · Strong analytical attitude with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills. · Experience in vendor management and exception handling is desirable. · Ability to work with large, sophisticated datasets and systems. · Experience or familiarity with SQL and Python is a plus (not crucial). · Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to clearly articulate data quality issues and collaborate effectively across teams and with vendors. · A proactive, solution-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn about ESG data and systems.
