Job Description: JSL Technologies, Inc. is seeking a qualified Sustainment/Pre-Production Lead Logistics Specialist to support Expeditionary Resuscitative Surgical System (ERSS) and En-route Care System (ERCS) platforms at the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC), Cheatham Annex. This is a contingent hire, pending contract award. The incumbent will ensure that all EXMED allowances have been filled and all material assigned to a specific EXMED has been platform stowed together in the racking system at NMRLC. The incumbent will also ensure that all kitted platforms remain in a ready for issue state by removing and replacing all expired material and removing all excess material. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Experience in leading staff and execution of Pre-Production type operations including: Development and execution of planning pull, prepare, pre-label, and stow material Efficient and effective execution of future production/kitting operations Experience in performing material sustainment operations including: Assessing and replacing expiring/expired material Kitting late arriving material after initial production/kitting operations have been completed Identifying and resolving overages, shortfalls, etc. to sustain material in a constant ready for issue state Experience operating various types of material handling equipment Required Knowledge: Knowledge of EXMED platform configurations, specifically ERSS and ERCS systems Knowledge of overall warehousing storage management plans and accepted warehousing methods Knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures, and material handling techniques Knowledge of programs utilized in providing material support Understanding of Table of Allowances (TOA), Authorized Medical Allowance Lists (AMALs), and Authorized Dental Allowance Lists (ADALs) Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Proficiency in DMLSS (Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support), HIMS, or other authorized database of record Required Skills and Certifications: Valid U.S. driver's license to drive stand-up and 4-6K forklifts Other Requirements: Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) Must be a U.S. citizen Ability to pass background investigation Must complete required DoD/BUMED IT security training Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pre-Production Operations: Develop and execute planning to pull, prepare, pre-label, and stow material for future production/kitting operations Ensure all EXMED allowances for ERSS/ERCS platforms have been filled Ensure all material assigned to a specific EXMED has been platform stowed together in the racking system Coordinate with Government staff to pre-assign CEE material to EXMEDS Sustainment Operations: Ensure all kitted platforms remain in a ready for issue state Remove and replace all expired material from shelves or kitted EXMEDS Remove all excess material from platforms Kit late arriving material after initial production/kitting operations have been completed Identify and resolve overages, shortfalls, and discrepancies Perform sustainment efforts including review, stock, and re-supply of medical logistics items Leadership & Supervision: Lead staff in pre-production and sustainment operations Ensure all requirements specified in DoD, U.S. Navy, and NMRLC instructions are met Ensure compliance with all PWS requirements Inventory & Warehouse Operations: Perform inventory and documentation of supply stock utilizing DMLSS or other military database of record Make adjustments to stock levels as directed Support excess or unserviceable material disposal processes Perform platform stowing of material by assigned EXMED platform Perform re-warehousing of material in accordance with Government stow plans Quality Control & Documentation: Perform quality control on transaction records and file documents appropriately Research quality assurance messages utilizing DMLSS or other military database of record Coordinate affected products/recalls with affected work centers Review documents to ensure proper information has been included Obtain missing information and resolve inconsistencies or discrepancies Packing Operations: Perform Pick, Pack, Preserve, and Crate (PPP&C) operations Pack and repack a variety of items for kitting and shipping of EXMEDS utilizing a wide variety of standard packing materials, methods, and techniques Administrative Duties: Perform word processing, data entry, and electronic mail transmission Store, retrieve, and maintain electronic documents/files Enter data into predefined spreadsheets or databases Required Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and supervisory abilities Ability to read, interpret, and apply reference materials such as regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, and orders Ability to read and speak the English language with correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format Proficiency in US standard office equipment (computers, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems) Strong ethical principles and customer service skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Light to moderate physical effort required Walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving items Lifting and carrying items over 45 lbs Work is performed on hard surfaces Security Clearance: Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
