Description The Sustainment Program Manager is responsible for leading the daily execution of the programs within contractual requirements to assure that the project cost, schedule, and technical performance goals are met. Assist in building and maintaining the customer relationship while managing the program to meet customer requirements and keep the customer appraised of progress. Ability to create and maintain a project milestone schedule based on customer, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sub-contractor inputs including but not limited to: Schedule, assign, and support the creation, review and delivery of all contract data requirements lists (CDRLs) deliverables as defined by the contract. Assist with the management of subcontractors and the supply chain as needed. Analyze, evaluate, monitor, and overcome program risks. Monitor project performance utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM), communicate status of schedule, budget, compliance, and risk, to all stakeholders during weekly. Early communication to leadership and stakeholders of potential failures to meet program schedule, budget, or compliance. Creation and implementation of new Program Management processes. Manage remote teams in support customer sustainment programs as required. Requirements General Expectations: 1. Arrives with a good background of aerospace sustainment program. 2. Works collaboratively with managers of the company to promote agile teamwork and a work environment which is productive and positive to execute the company’s goals in accordance with our core values. 3. Remain aligned with executive strategies regarding customer relationships and internal controls. 4. Meticulous, precise diligence in all aspects of research, analysis, planning, and execution. 5. Ability to create, communicate, and execute effective revenue enhancement initiatives. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 7. A high degree of initiative and intelligence to gather and analyze customer data to generate results. Qualifications: 1. Aerospace sustainment program experience, minimum 5 years. 2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred. 3. Prior Military aviation experience preferred. 4. Computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems. Schedule: Monday to Friday.
