Overview An active, goal-oriented family of four (plus a beloved miniature schnauzer) in the Bay Heights/Coconut Grove area of Miami is seeking a proactive, highly organized Part-Time Family Assistant to help streamline daily logistics and support a fast-paced household. This is a dynamic, goal-oriented home that values efficiency, structure, and teamwork, while also maintaining a warm, lighthearted atmosphere. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and enjoys keeping busy. The schedule guarantees 24 hours per week, typically structured as three full days (9:00am–5:00pm or 10:00am–6:00pm). The family prefers either Monday–Tuesday–Wednesday or Monday–Tuesday–Thursday. Local candidates only. This role requires use of the candidate’s own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided. Responsibilities Manage household errands, including dry cleaning, returns, grocery shopping, and mailing. Drive children to and from activities and appointments. Walk and feed the family dog. Coordinate travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and transportation. Assist with event planning and reservations. Maintain and manage the household calendar; send reminders and prevent scheduling conflicts. Schedule appointments and coordinate minor home maintenance needs. Serve as liaison with vendors and service providers. Provide regular updates and communicate household needs clearly and professionally. Handle ad hoc projects as needed. Qualifications Prior experience as a Family Assistant or Personal Assistant in a private home. Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented. Comfortable working in a household with teenagers and an active schedule. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Discreet, dependable, and professional. Adaptable and resourceful in a dynamic environment. Service-minded with a warm but efficient demeanor. Requirements Must use personal vehicle for work-related duties (mileage reimbursed). Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Strong English communication skills. Tech-savvy and comfortable with common scheduling and productivity tools. Pet-friendly. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Salary and Benefits $40–$50 per hour, commensurate with experience. Guaranteed 24 hours per week. Mileage reimbursement.
