Organizational Context and Scope Under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Associate – Social Inclusion & Integration, the Interpreter and Translator (Social Inclusion & Integration) will be responsible for providing unofficial translation and interpretation services in English, Ukrainian, and Hungarian to support persons displaced from Ukraine, while ensuring accurate documentation of services, compliance with data protection standards, close coordination with project staff, and appropriate referrals of vulnerable individuals to internal or external specialized support services, in line with IOM’s mandate and humanitarian principles.
Responsibilities
Provide unofficial translation and interpretation services in English, Ukrainian, and Hungarian to support persons displaced from Ukraine. Ensure accurate documentation, data protection compliance, and appropriate referrals of vulnerable individuals to specialized support services.
