This role is ideal for a visionary brand strategist who thrives at the intersection of creativity, data, and business impact. The SVP, Brand Strategy will lead a high-performing team to define brand platforms, positioning, and narratives that drive growth for enterprise clients across B2C, D2C, and B2B markets. The role combines hands-on client engagement, thought leadership, and strategic oversight, requiring fluency in insights, AI-enabled workflows, and integrated communications. You will shape the agency’s approach to brand strategy, mentor emerging leaders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable client and creative outcomes. This is a highly client-facing, strategic position with exposure to senior executives, complex brand challenges, and innovative marketing technologies. Success in this role requires a balance of analytical rigor, creative storytelling, and the ability to inspire teams toward ambitious goals. \n Accountabilities: Define and implement the agency’s brand strategy methodology, tools, and standards to elevate strategic excellence across accounts. Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse strategy team, fostering career development and cultivating future leaders. Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, facilitating workshops, guiding brand transformations, and strengthening C-suite relationships. Oversee the development of brand platforms, positioning, messaging, architecture, and audience frameworks for enterprise clients. Integrate insights from research, cultural trends, and analytics into persuasive, channel-agnostic narratives and briefs. Collaborate with Creative, Communications/PR, Media, Data Science/Analytics, and Client Partnerships to deliver cohesive campaigns and initiatives. Establish and track KPIs for brand impact, leveraging AI and analytics tools to measure performance, inform decisions, and optimize strategies. Support business development, including new client pursuits, strategic presentations, and thought leadership initiatives. Requirements: 12+ years of brand strategy experience in top-tier agencies or consultancies, leading multi-market brand platforms and integrated campaigns. Proven success across multiple industries such as CPG, technology/SaaS, energy, hospitality, entertainment, or consumer electronics. Expertise in research and insights, including qualitative, quantitative, and social/behavioral methods, with the ability to translate findings into actionable strategy. Strong understanding of brand-to-market integration, including communications architecture, full-funnel planning, content ecosystems, and retail/ecommerce considerations. Executive presence and expert-level storytelling, facilitation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Demonstrated people leadership, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and fostering inclusive, high-performing teams. Highly collaborative, able to align creative, analytics, media, and research teams around outcome-driven strategies.
