At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses. Position Summary The Senior Vice President, Marketing and Market Access will report to the CEO and be responsible for enabling top line growth through expanded reimbursement coverage, increased brand awareness and customer knowledge of products, and driving new product development to best address market needs. The leader will be responsible for the upstream and downstream marketing teams, government affairs and reimbursement, marketing communications, and clinical training; a total team of approximately 30 individuals. This leader will be instrumental in developing and leading the company's market access strategy to secure and expand reimbursement coverage for the product portfolio across public and private payers. They will establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, commercial insurers, health technology assessment bodies, and policy influencers. They will work to generate compelling evidence of clinical and economic value that supports reimbursement. The leader will drive awareness and familiarity with Tactile's products amongst the physician and patient communities. In doing so, this leader will further establish Tactile Medical as the leader of at home therapies for lymphedema, lipedma, chronic venous insufficiency, and chronic pulmonary disease. Finally, they will exercise strong leadership in guiding and inspiring the team to reach major milestones and unlock the next chapter of growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead the marketing function including long term strategy, new product development, customer satisfaction, product positioning, new product launches, and product life cycle management. Secure and expand reimbursement coverage across private payers nationally as well as public payers (i.e.,Medicare, Medicaid). Drive payer engagement initiatives, including negotiations with insurers and government programs to achieve favorable coverage decisions and payment terms. Oversee health economics and outcomes research to generate clinical and economic data supporting reimbursement. Monitor and influence healthcare policy and reimbursement trends, ensuring the company remains proactive in adapting to regulatory changes and payer requirements. Support pricing strategy development, ensuring alignment with value-based care models and payer expectations. Lead initiatives to reduce access barriers, including patient assistance programs, provider education, and advocacy efforts. Work closely with Senior Leadership Team to define and develop marketing strategies to increase market penetration. Partner with SVP Sales to manage the strategic and day-to-day operational aspects of the business, with an emphasis on significant revenue growth. Collaborate on managing channel and partner strategies and programs. Oversee Strategy including market analytics, reimbursement coverages by insurance and government payers, market and customer research for product requirements, opportunity assessments. Develop segmentation and customer relationship models that identify targets for additional growth. Incorporate customer needs and market shifts into long term product strategy. Oversee product launches, solutions training and clinical education, competitive analysis and general sales support. Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, trade shows, seminars and events, collateral materials, and market research. Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities. Represent the company in industry forums and trade associations, contributing to brand awareness and reimbursement adovcacy. Establish the recruiting, training, professional development and performance management framework that will result in effective and satisfied managers and employees on the marketing and market access teams. Comply with local, state and federal rules, regulations and laws. Desired Outcomes Establish a robust structure for the reimbursement group, including leadership for government and commercial payers. Through this group expand the company's range of indications and develop international markets. Create a bridge between reimbursement policy and organizational communication with sales teams to foster trust and confidence. Collaborate with R&D to ensure market needs are prioritized effectively for product development and achievement of strategic goals. The Senior Vice President Marketing and Market Access will be a seasoned marketing leader in the MedTech industry. They will have a depth of experience in launching new technologies and working to expand market access through private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare coverage. They will have previously developed reimbursement strategies that closely align with commercial operations, enabling the sales team to fully realize growth potential of the products. The ideal candidate will be familiar with managing marketing, sales training, and clinical education teams. The leader will be adept at articulating complex concepts clearly and capable of communicating to stakeholders both internal and external. The SVP Marketing and Market Access will work to guide and inspire their team to take the business to new heights. Ideal Experience Medical device marketing experience 12+ years of medical device experience in positions of increasing responsibility in marketing and market access within the medical device space. Commercializing new technologies and expanding access The ideal candidate will be experienced in market development and introducing new technologies that change the current standard of care. Previous experience with expanding market access and driving insurance coverage is critical to this role and the success of the business. Team building and leadership skills The ideal candidate will be a servant leader with a track record of building and leading high performance marketing teams and collaborating closely with sales.
